Attorney María del Carmen Curatolo has been a Gainesville, Florida resident since 2005. Maria is admitted to The Florida Bar and practices Estate Planning, Probate, Elder Law, and Immigration Law. María holds an LL.M. in Comparative Law (or U.S. Law) and a J.D. degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in Gainesville, Florida, and Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil, Ecuador. In addition, María is a member of the Business Network International (BNI), Chapter 212, holding the chair focused on Estate Planning. BNI is the world’s leading business referral organization that helps small businesses grow and connect through referrals. She is also a member of GAWN, Gainesville Area Women’s Network, a not-for-profit for business women and anyone who supports women in business.

Maria is a native Spanish speaker and familiar with other romantic languages. She is originally from Ecuador and has always lived in large multicultural cities, thus she has a personal connection and deep understanding of the importance of planning for your future and the power of communicating your wishes. When she is not advocating for her clients, María dedicates her time to her family and three boys Sebastian, Luciano, and Guillermo. She also loves spending time with friends, playing tennis, and working on puzzles.
